A triumph of love and macramé in the heart of Tuscany

Emma and Andrea, a young couple with deep love that, after years of a long-distance relationship and travel from north to south of Italy, have crowned their dream. A couple where respect and understanding have always been the key to a beautiful story. A dream which I had the honor of designing and crafting in the beautiful Tuscan hills.

Their origins and love for the territory could only make them make this decision, pronounce the fateful “Yes, I do!” among the beauties of the Tuscan hinterland. Thus, Podere Calvaiola, a typical wedding venue of the area with a postcard natural panorama, has become the setting for Emma and Andrea’s entire wedding day. From the ceremony to the reception.

A project with soft tones and refined details

Emma’s dream for her big day has always been one to be surrounded by soft-colored scenography and a mix of compositions with fresh, dried flowers and pampas. The neutral nuances of the color palette embraced shades ranging from milky white to powder pink to natural green, but what made everything unique and memorable was the use of macramé. A refined detail created by a local artist.

Moreover, for their reception en plain air, the two imperial wooden tables and that of the bride and groom were “invaded” by macramé runners completely handmade. And making everything even more authentic, the details of the set-up. Vases in white ceramic, candles of different heights, floral arrangements, and pampas are surrounded by a beautiful late summer sunset and under the lights of warm and enveloping lights typical of Italian summer dinners.

That of Emma and Andrea was an event full of magical and memorable moments, deep emotions, friendliness, and amazement as for the first wedding dance. A choreography that started slowly in the middle of the dinner, which then turned into a livelier dance. The union of two youngsters who, after a thousand vicissitudes, have finally made it to their most beautiful day. A couple who will always have a special place in my heart and to whom I wish they continue to live their love just like that, as one on the shoulder of the other, looking to the future together.
